I wanna hire an atheist, too!

Man, I wish I could hire an atheist off ebay to critically evaluate my church’s ministry. That kind of information would be invaluable. Looks like I’ll just have to keep up with the evaluation of Salem Baptist Church instead and make generic applications to my church.

Hey! Congrats on being the “featured blog” on the YS Update! I saw it and thought, “Wow, I read that blog all the time.”

  2. Dana Says:

Congratulations sweetie on being featured! That gives a positive twist to your day. Hope the rest of your week is good. I miss you and will see you Sunday. I am so excited about the gift my mom and I got you. I think you’ll like it. I have to work on it a little though.

    Congrats on the YS props.

I’ve found it beneficial to go into my church occasionally with the eyes of a first timer. You’ll probably be surprised at what you see. It helps to evaluate your traditions and practices in the “non-church” related stuff too. (like how you count attendance)

Man, I was just gonna update with a pretty personal post about some struggles in youth ministry relating back to my “Ministry is an oxymoron” post, but now I’m almost too self-conscious. j/k I’ll get it posted later tonight or tomorrow.

Maybe you could work out a lease with the other minister…
